Banana
- From July to September 2022, banana production was estimated at
2.36 million metric tons. It was higher by0.1 percent than the recorded production during the same period of 2021. - Cavendish variety, with
1.16 million metric tons accounted for49.1 percent of the country’s total banana production. - Davao Region, which contributed
36.3 percent to the national production during the period, was the highest banana producer with857.35 thousand metric tons of output. Northern Mindanao and SOCCSKSARGEN followed with23.0 percent and12.2 percent shares, respectively.
