Abaca
- Production of abaca fiber for July to September 2022 expanded to
19.30 thousand metric tons or by21.7 percent, compared with the15.85 thousand metric tons output in the same quarter of 2021. - Bicol Region was still the top abaca-producing region this period, with
6.76 thousand metric tons output or35.0 percent share to the total abaca production. This was followed by Eastern Visayas and Davao Region with15.7 percent and14.9 percent shares, respectively.
